An insight into the Montessori Philosophy
Montessori Studio is a child enrichment program and Adult education service which uses the Montessori Method of teaching and the principles of her philosophy to educate those interested in using Montessori for personal development, homeschool education or just to gain insight before pursuing a formal Montessori training course.
Montessori @ Home was developed to teach basic Montessori presentation principles. The importance of the early years curriculum and ideology on how it impacts a child attitude towards academics.
After completing this training participants will be able to implement the Montessori philosophy as it relates to activities, choices in entertainment and types of toys prefered for young children, more importantly you will determine if Montessori is right for your family. This training does NOT give direction on traditional Montessori Materials commonly found in the Montessori environment.

Your Instructor
Shoni Banica, originally from Barbados, studied Montessori at the St. Nicholas Center, now a noted Charity for Montessori in England. She has worked in London, BVI, USA, and Qatar. Shoni likes to draw inspiration from “simplicity of life” by enjoying the beauty earth offers, learning about science and nature which is the embodiment of Montessori. She is excited to teach the next generation of young minds to love and respect nature and its importance in our existence.
Shoni holds a BA in Business Administration, she is the owner and operator of Montessori Studio, a space designed to introduce the Montessori method and materials to parents, caregivers and home schoolers.
